Villa with great view, Dubrovnik in Croatia.
Villa Pavlic is situated in elite part of town Dubrovnik called St. Jakov. Very exclusive part of Dubrovnik, directly on the see, with great view on the walls of Old Town - Dubrovnik. On the big Terrace you have a sunshine or shade - depending where you a sitting (and of course if weather sunny is). This old Stone house is about 250 - 300 years old. The neighbours are Croatian and world stars, as Ivo Pogorelic or the actor John Malkovich (he has just paid approx. 3 Millions Euro, that for a derelict villa 20 miles west of the city). Villa is air-conditioned and with SAT-TV.
You can reach the villa directly with the small street from Old Town. It's approx. 1,5 km away from the city (Old Town). The way from the street to house is also very interesting. After you are crossing the big gates of residence, you are back into the history.
Old walls, stairs, strong vegetation and the great view, that is very typical for the Dubrovnik region.

Dubrovnik
is a city and port on the Croatian coast of the AdriaticSea.
The City has approx. 50.000 inhabitants and is the
economicks cultural and educational centre of souther
Dalmatia.
Old Town walls are built beetwen 13th an 16th century. From
this walls is given the great view over the city and
environment. Only to see those walls is imposive,and than
that view…
Dubrovnik - the city of a unique political and cultural
history (the Dubrovnik Republic, the Statute from 1272), of
world-famous cultural heritage and beauty (whole Old Town
inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO) -
is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the
Mediterranean.
The beauty of Dubrovnik cannot be described in mere words,
it must be seen. It needs the simple experience of an early
evening coffee on the main street or being immersed in the
laid back, happy-to-be-alive way of life.
Dubrovnik is quite simply the closest I've ever come to that
elusive notion of heaven
Very famous are also Dubrovnik carnival festivities - so-called Dubrovnik "karnevo" (local variant of the word "carnival"), held ever since the early Middle Ages, when they were brought from the neighbouring Italy. Another important event is the Feast Day of St. Blaise, also the Day of Dubrovnik (3rd of February). The feast takes place for the whole week, including religious ceremonies, a procession through the town, concerts, sports events, entertainment and carnival programs. Excursions to Dubrovnik during that week are regularly organized.
